Robin D'Arcy Shillcock (1953). Lives in Groningen, but regularly travels to desolate regions in the north of Europe and North America. Little inspires him as much as the landscape, in which animals and sometimes humans play a role. His work, made on location, centres on these harsh, often uninhabited areas, and the people he meets on the way.
